Nigeria: Muslims, Christians Celebrate Sallah |
Muslims and Christians over the week- end participated in the Sallah fun.At Life Camp, Abuja. The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Dr Aliyu Modibbo Umar organised a party where children of both religion from all over FCT were invited.
He advised parents of the need to always take the welfare of children seriously as they were the future leaders of tomorrow.
News Agency of Nigeria's (NAN) correspondent who went to some recreational parks in the FCT also saw that some Christians joined the Muslims to celebrate the Sallah festival.
Some of the Christians who spoke to NAN said they were at the parks in the company of their Muslims brothers and sisters to share the fun of the celebrations. |
