I was thinking these last days, when I started to speak about religious tattoos, how would it be to provide templates for such works here. I think it would be interesting, just that I would need to document a bit about it. When I started to provide Christian web templates, I knew I am informed about this business since it is my main job. The same with Christian MySpace layouts, I knew about them quite a lot, but about religious tattoos, well, I don’t know that much.

So, in order to have the job done right, I would need to get informed. I don’t know if I will do it, but I surely consider it.

I think I will start discussing it with a few religious tattoo artists around, maybe they will want to start a collaboration of some sort, to upload such artworks on this site. In the end, what you need to have, I guess, are some pictures cleared of background, in a few colors that can be easily reproduced on skin.

I will think about it and if I will start to put here religious tattoos, you will be invited to contribute also!

As you probably remember, I was telling you about little traffic over summertime. Or springtime for the moment. And I am right, people are less interested in internet when the sun is shining outside. Religious website templates don’t look that interesting when the sun shines in your display, right?

However, seems that the interest for Christian MySpace layouts is still high even if comparing to the beginning of 2008, people searched less. Seems that for 2006, Christian MySpace layouts had a massive growth, 2007 was a constant year while on 2008 they begin to decrease. At least this is my impression looking to Google trends statistics.

I ask myself if it is still a springtime temporary thing or they are going down. I ask this because it may be a general trend, where all religious based products and services lower a bit over summertime, but may also be an issue with layouts for MySpace in a general way, not only with religious ones. Maybe people got tired to look for them or maybe the new interface of the site is enough for people? Who knows?!

Anyway, I will watch these searches on medium term to see how they are doing and what is the trend. Maybe it’s a temporary thing and Christian MySpace layouts will come back as well as church website templates and everything related to religious design.

Some time ago I said I will not write again about Christian MySpace layouts, but lately more and more people entering my site look for them and I think about adding up a few of them. MySpace Christian layouts are really looked for and I am well ranked for them so I ask myself actually why not add a few?

That is because of the fact that the traffic is not high quality and they say it is better to have less traffic but high quality traffic than large but bad traffic and this is true. So far, the fact that I received quite a good number of visits from people looking for them, didn’t help me too much, after all. People come, people go, they don’t buy anything and they don’t download free religious templates either, they are kind of a “look around” visitors.

If you came to that site looking for Christian MySpace layouts and you feel you don’t recognize yourself and you think your visit here is useful, please accept my apologies, since I had no intention of making it sound bad, I just do a bit of analysis of my traffic. I receive here traffic that usually converts well either in purchasing premium Christian designs either downloading free church web design, which is the final target of this site, in terms of goals, but usually people looking for religious layouts don’t do either of those things. If you do, then you are welcome! Actually, if you are here for MySpace layouts and backgrounds, why don’t you look at our church web templates, maybe you will find a good use for some! Try them out, they are great, you know?

Yes, I wouldn’t believe it, but Christian layouts became my number one criteria. I don’t know, maybe people started to look more for them on the internet or I have been ranked better, even if I did not do anything in the last period of time for this. Actually, because I realized that the quality of traffic is not that good when it comes to this, I have decided to never speak again about Christian layouts(like in MySpace Christian layouts) but I am just asking myself, could people looking for religion web site templates actually refer to them as layouts?

I don’t know if this is the case or not, the traffic remains, and I like it so I don’t complain, just that I hope people actually look for templates when they refer to Christian layouts because this way they find what they come for, otherwise not quite, if you get my point.

I found some visits on my website coming from Christian MySpace layouts and since I have stopped some time ago to provide Christian MySpace layouts, I was curious where did they come from. I was searching on MySpace for Christian layouts related to MagicTemplate.com and I was impressed to see that there are some people using MySpace Christian layouts from my site.

It is interesting, such layouts, Christian or not, were very famous at one time, and now they still stay at the same high level of interest and I think that as much as MySpace will not provide a strong collection of such templates on their own, there will be a lot of websites providing such thing for free.

How long until Christian MySpace layouts will become trademarked?

Now,the only thing I ask myself about (Christian) MySpace layouts is how long is it going to take before becoming a trademark protected item and banning all sites offering such layouts for free. You know why I ask myself this thing?

First it camed that thing with Google AdWords when you were not allowed to promote trademarks in ads, so you could not promote such layouts using the name of the site itself.

Then, if you think about guitar tabs, free guitar tabs that is, they have became a matter of dispute between free sites providing such guitar tabs and the companies selling them for good money. Guitar tabs were a free thing, no string attached. But there were money involved, so there are companies making money from this. So they have started to ban these sites providing guitar tabs for free.

By the way, I was not aware that there are Christian guitar tabs sites, providing, of course, only Christian guitar tabs. Ok then…

It is the same with Christian layouts for MySpace. How long until there will be some companies signing with MySpace for providing such layouts for money? How long until somebody will make money from such layouts officially, not only the way a lot of folks do today? Well, I think that particular day will be the start of the end for MySpace layouts and Christian layouts also.

So, if some big shot company will find that MySpace layouts and Christian layouts in particular make a good revenue and convince MySpace that they should provide “good” layouts in an official way and split the revenue, then it will be the end of it. The end of free layouts. The end of Christian MySpace layouts…

Am I right or what? What do you think?

These last few days I have started considering again adding the area of Christian MySpace layouts back to this site. You know why? Believe me or not, because I was not able to find that particular site where you get decent Christian MySpace layouts. Really. All MySpace layouts for Christian profiles are looking crowded, ugly, not the way I like, anyway.

That is why I am thinking to provide such Christian MySpace layouts. Not many, not thousands but a few good ones. A few that give you the possibility to have a Christian profile that be proud of.

I have found a few nice ones on the internet, but I am not speaking about collections or websites but about particular layouts, which made it difficult to find, since they are hidden among ugly designs. And you know why? Because they are generated by a Christian MySpace layouts generator that build them one by one from some scrap data.

How could you build hundreds of Christian MySpace layouts in minutes?

Well, believe me or not, there are people that do it. Have a generator like the one I just told you about, feed it with a folder full of Christian MySpace graphics, Christian glitter images and text, let it chose a few colors randomly and push the button. Of course this would not be the way a decent designer would do. A designer would chose the colors, would think about what to add there and how to design the profile. Just that…it takes time and a normal designer would not have the time to build hundreds and thousands of Christian MySpace layouts and backgrounds one by one. It would be too much. That is why you can not find decent layouts or backgrounds out there. Because they are robot processed. And picture this:  a “robot” processed layout for a social network that put people together.

Again, the best way and the only one I would recommend for good experience is  a good designer and a bit of common sense. Not a robot. This is why I am thinking to provide a few good Christian MySpace backgrounds and layouts here on my site. What do you think?

What would be the best position in Google index? I guess there is only one answer: the first one!!! I want to be the first!!! Yes, indeed! I guess that the first position is almost all the time clicked. BUT: does it convert all the time?

Well, some of the internet marketers say that the best  position is the third one. Why? Well, it is simple: supposing you are searching for Christian MySpace layouts on the internet. You go to the firs page in G. Look, but maybe you want to look some more. Ok then, go to the second position. Now you are already  a bit  educated about what you are looking for.  Go to the third page…and  why not use one from here? Since you already have an experience with the first 2 pages, plus this one, 3.  More than this maybe it would be too much.

It is the same thing with music. Experts say that in a concert or on a CD or DVD, the most important songs are the first (since it opens the show with it so the people is waiting for it) and the third. On the second song it seems that people lose attention for a short while, after they payed attention to the first but come back to the third. Thus, put the best songs on the first and 3rd position.

I find it similar to the search engine index position. The third position seems to convert very well.

Since I have not provided here (enough) Christian MySpace layouts, I was curious to see which are the most “visible” sites providing Christian MySpace layouts when it comes to Google. Of course, I could see this in a second by searching on G for it.

So, at a first glance, I see  christianmyspacelayouts.org which clearly provides such Christian layouts just to get to advertising money. MySpace is just a way, it could have been any other highly searched thing. I say this since I can not tell that they provide high quality Christian MySpace layouts. No, just usual stuff with no added value. But, they are the first site in Google for the given search.

On the second position, it’s christian-myspace-layouts.com which does right about the same thing, has the same ads and the same ads position, I wonder if it is not the same owner for both sites.

Spacefaith.com is an other site providing Christian MySpace layouts for free for…ads money. Again…is there any site doing it for real? I don’t have anything against monetizing sites, I do it myself the best I can but come on, people, you have to give back something, not just ads…

christianprofile.com - the same with a bit more taste…and the list goes on. christian-myspace.com takes it to the extreme. i don’t even want to speak about it. As a short conclusion, if you search on Google for Christian MySpace layouts you will find on the first page (this is the only page I have searched for) only MFA sites with no real value.

I will look some more and I will post here when I will find a good site.

Some time ago I had the intention of also providing MySpace Christian layouts on MT. So I started to write about them, to have posts here on the blog and to also add such MySpace Christian layouts on a particular section where people could copy them from and use them on their profiles.

How MySpace Christian layouts came to my attention

Well, the story is not hard to tell. I was looking for some interesting topics to write about, with good traffic. MySpace Christian layouts (or Christian MySpace layouts) were the subject to work with. They had a good search volume and also were specific to my niche.

Soon I managed to get a good traffic from them, I managed to get on the first page in Google for searches such as Christian MySpace layouts, MySpace Christian layouts and Christian layouts. People started to come. I was thrilled about it. And you can not blame me for this, this is the dream of every webmaster on this planet. You can not tell that you, the one reading this post don’t want your website be highly visited. I am sure you would love as much traffic as possible on your website. Including Christian MySpace layouts generated traffic…

What happened with MySpace Christian layouts in the end? I don’t see any here

Well, the hard lesson was that MySpace generated traffic does not convert well. Period. MySpace Christian layouts didn’t convert well for my site profile. I got traffic but with low response from my visitors. So I have decided to stop blogging about Christian MySpace layouts so search engines forget about my site being associated to them.

And I have posted about my decision here…of course that posting about it on this site generated traffic and so on. So I have finally stopped posting about it period. I had also an other site oriented to such layouts in general, not necessarily Christian layouts. I have stopped that one too because it needed effort but it didn’t bring me too much for the work involved.

Soon my traffic decreased, search engines forgot about me when it came to MySpace Christian layouts and everything went back to normal from my point of view. Bad traffic was goooone forever!!!

How about now?! Why am I posting again about MySpace Christian layouts?

Well, what can I say? I have almost forgotten that bad feeling I had while receiving bad traffic from MySpace religious layouts so I want to try again, maybe the traffic will convert better this time. I don’t know. Maybe I am doing a mistake posting about MySpace Christian layouts again. Or maybe not, only time will tell. And stats…

Why am I asking this? I run this site, site that has a Christian related profile, right? I also own LayoutGarden.com that among other things speaks about Christian MySpace layouts.

I was visiting a site that has not a strong Christian  profile. This site is providing general layouts for MySpace. What do you think I see there? Well, Christian ads from AdSense. I asked myself why? Is it because of the page content?Well, the content was not Christian,but general. Or is it due to my profile, since I am logged on to Google account? Maybe Google takes into consideration such kind of information, displaying on visited sites contextual advertising more interesting for me as a visitor.

Do you think it would be possible? I would like to hear some comments, please!
