Would you hire us to implement a religious website template on your site?

Posted in church website design by magictemplate on the July 21st, 2011

The fact is that a lot of people download one of our religious website templates from our site but not everybody know how to actually implement it on their website. This is not that simple as it may look like and the best way to do it is actually to hire a professional who can do it for you so you get the right results.

The only thing to consider here is that, if you are actually looking for a free religious template, you will still need to pay for the service of actually implementing the template on your site. The good thing is that if you pay for such a service you make sure that you get a good result, because a professional would know what to do. There are things that a professional would handle correctly when implementing a religious web template, like for example making sure everything looks right, making sure the template validates and works in all major browsers like Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firewfox or Google Chrome, making sure all the links work, etc.

So, would you hire us to implement the religious website template you just downloaded on your site?

Church website templates became a real business

Posted in church website design by magictemplate on the July 19th, 2011

Indeed, it was a surprise even for me that in the last period, church website templates became so popular. If you want to check it out for yourself, just watch the ads that Google displays when you search for such terms. It is crazy, really!

The fact is that I am happy about it, church templates were always good business, meaning that there was a market for them, but these days there are so many people involved into it that it’s hard to find your direction without knowing what exactly you are looking for.

Our site, MagicTemplate.com was and will remain a very important source for church website templates and we will do our best to make it grow and we’ll do our best to expand the collection of web themes so churches can find what they are looking for.

The fact is that we plan to expand our service by adding several other services, like for example custom web development and design for people who don’t have the required knowledge to implement such a template on a church website.

At this moment our team of professional developers can stand up to the challenge and deliver great results so our church web templates find their place on your site the best possible way.

How about if I simplify the process of uploading free templates?

Posted in church website design by magictemplate on the November 5th, 2008

These days I keep on thinking about how to simplify the process of you sending templates to be published on this site. It should be as easy as possible, but so far I have understood from you that the process doesn’t seem straight forward, considering the fact that you need to register before sending anything.

The fact is that I prefered this because all the templates are displayed under a certain user credentials, the designers has the right to add and edit templates. But I just ask myself if it wouldn’t be easier to just let you send templates without any other data needed. No account, no nothing, just send the design you want.

I think that this way, the collection of Christian templates will grow easier than so far, because more of you will send free templates here.

What do you think, would it be better?

How difficult is to build a Christian web template?

Posted in church website design by magictemplate on the August 27th, 2008

Well, belileve me or not, it is not an easy thing to do. If you build a custom theme, without a particular constraint, such as a particular engine, CMS or an already established site, it is easier, your imagination is the limit, but if you need to respect some constraints such as building a religious blog theme based on WordPress or a Christian osCommerce template, or a Zen Cart template, etc, then things will be a bit more difficult because you will have some particular structures that you need to include and respect, like for ex blog posts, archives, you need to include tags for best offers, etc.

These days more and more people use predefined CMS engines such as WordPress so Christian WordPress themes are very demanded these days and designing them is not easy to to. What you can do to start working on one is to take the default theme WordPress comes with and start adapting it.

I guess that no matter in what domain of activity you work on, you know that is always easier to adapt somebody’s work than to start it yourself from scratch. The same with Christian WordPress themes here…

Church website design is a lovely activity

Posted in church website design by magictemplate on the July 25th, 2008

Indeed, I find church website design as a very pleasant thing to do, since I get to design a lot of websites, a lot of church website templates and this makes every day of my life more and more beautiful. You know, you need passion for this activity in order to make it right. It is not just a regular website design niche, you need more for it, you need understanding, trust, faith, love and a very good communication with your client who, in most of the cases, has so little to do with computers.

Church website design is not hard to do once you understand it and manage to communicate right with the people asking you for services. If you are not used to it, if you are not used to design Christian websites, for example, it is difficult to do it in the beginning until you master the vocabulary and needs. Christian websites and church website design in general are different than regular sites, you will need to spend time in the church, among people of the church, if you are not very familiar with it, in order to get it right.

That is why I recommend you start developing the website of your church with a Christian designer who already understand these needs.

Do your Christian web templates come with server side scripting support?

Posted in church website design by magictemplate on the June 11th, 2008

I have received a question about the website templates on my site here. Somebody was interested to know if the templates offer ASP or APSx support as well as database support. I think there was a little misunderstanding here, since what you see here on this site is a collection of beautifully designed religion templates, but still, templates, nothing more. There is no scripting included, as the FAQs state. Everything is just about the way a site looks. These are all Christian layouts, not site engines, not scripts that power up websites.

I wanted to say this here so nobody understand that the websites layouts that you see here are backed up by scripts at this point and complain they are not, after they buy them.

Of  course, being a website template, it is very easy for somebody knowing his job to implement a website using any server side scripting like PHP or ASP or ASPX, there is no problem here, and if you ask yourself if all our Christian web templates offer this support for such development, the answer is yes, all out web templates offer such support for development. But they don’t come with this at this moment!

You can ask a coder, a web design agency,  or anybody knowing his way around coding to build the site for you using server side scripting if you really think you will need it. Just speak to any web design agency and they will help you build a website out of it.

Did you know we also offer such services? See the templates customization button on the upper side of the site and see our offer!

Everybody has a site that is dearest to his/her heart. This is mine…

Posted in church website design by magictemplate on the May 27th, 2008

Over time, those of us that are involved in developing websites build a small fleet of them but everybody has one or two that are very close to their hearts and mean the most to them. For me, this site about Christian web design is the one that means the most. I have more websites, on various topics, but this one means more than all the others put in one place.

Over time I watched it grow step by step and earn each of the visitors coming here with cold sweat. I worked for this growth and every visitor coming to this website meant something to me. You, reader of this post, too. I designed a handful of church web templates that I delivered for free. Everyone of these free website templates means something to me.

It does not necessarily mean that this site is the most important from all the points of view, or that it is the most beautiful or that it has the highest traffic. No. It just mean that this website is the dearest to my heart.I guess it is because of the religious niche too, because every time I work on this site I get a warm feeling of belonging.

I love this site and I am pretty sure you have your own websites you love, sites that you have worked on and that means something to you. Am I right or what?

Our religious templates may be used for other websites too

Posted in church website design by magictemplate on the May 25th, 2008

Our niche is Christian templates, free religious web templates, yes, I know it. But this does not mean that you can not use our free website templates for your sites, if these sites don’t have a religious specific. You can use it to anything you like, just keep the link back to us. Of course, the sites you use our free templates on should not have offensive content of any kind and should follow Christian beliefs. It is that simple.

After that, no matter what domain of activity, what niche your site has, you can use out free website templates to dress it. If you sell books, it’s ok. If you sell cars, it’s ok. If you have a personal site, no problem, just please remember to keep the link back to our site here. It is that simple.

People ask us all the time questions like: could I use your template for my site if it is not a religious site? Yes, as long as it follows good will rules and does not offend anybody in any way. That is the only thing we ask and of course the link. After that, use our religious theme to whatever you like, to build a site that is religious or not. Be our guests!

Custom church websites for low prices

Posted in church website design by magictemplate on the May 23rd, 2008

The same idea that I have exposed here some time ago comes back to me again and again: how about offering payed services for developing full websites for churches, Christian organizations, etc, at low prices and use this site for this? I ask myself if I would offer such a service, if people would like it. A lot of my searches come from free website templates so there is a big chance that people don’t want to invest much money.

But I look at the fact that a lot of the Christian templates that  are downloaded from our site are not well implemented on customer’s websites: people rely on their college HTML knowledge to do it or ask somebody from the church. But how would be if you would know that after you have downloaded the template, we can add the information in it for you for a low price?

Have your website up and ready with just a little bit of money? Wouldn’t this be great?
