When previous Google PR update took place, I lost my PR 4 to a PR 3. I don’t know why that happened, but I felt unhappy about it. However, a few days ago it came back, so I have again a PR 4 and I am happy about it! Not that it would matter too much, but it shows some kind of “respect”! I don’t know if this is the right word, but a good PR puts you on a better position when speaking to somebody else.
There are many situations when a good PR would help you, like for ex in a link exchange situation, or in advertising and even in gaining trust! Yes, that is right, if I see a site with a higher PR, I consider it better, because it is on the market for a long time, otherwise it wouldn’t have had that PR.
Anyway, good to be back to my PR!
Is there such service as free Christian images?
I was thinking about a service that I would have liked to have: Christian images only. Think about it: a public image database providing only Christian pictures, Christian graphics. If this service would also be for free, then it would be just perfect: free Christian images. How does it sound to you?
I know that there are collection of photographies on the internet providing free images, and among them you can find religious oriented ones, but a site providing only Christian images I think it would make a great niche!
Is there such a service? If so, I would love to see it, I think we could all benefit from it! When you design website templates for free, you need also additional services like free religious images. Such service would come very handy, in my opinion.

Add whatever religious images you like to our templates
Religion is something that is globally defined, even if there are many forms, many ways to look at it and to believe. I won’t enter an argument with this post about who’s better, because this is not the subject of this blog. This site and blog are about website design, about free website templates, etc, all these oriented to Christian websites.
However, I see often people asking me to customize templates to fit their look, based on where they live, they say that this template is Christian, I like it, but it shows there Caucasian people and I want to change the picture to something to represent me. Well, there is no problem, really! If you like the template and you want to change it to something that fit you, you are welcome to do it.
All that matters is that it is a Christian template that matches your way of looking at websites and that it fits your church or religion website. After this, what pictures you add there, doesn’t matter. You can find any Christian picture that you like and add it there, you can add there generic religious pictures such as children praying, priests, a pastor, Jesus, a cross, whatever you like, or you can add there specific images, like yourself, picture of your church, people praying on your church, etc.
It is all up to you!
Custom church web design…
I haven’t had too much time to take care of MagicTemplate.com the way I would have liked to. I said, some time ago, that I would like to make this website work as a custom church web design interface for what we do, not only to give away free Christian web templates or sell premium Christian templates.
I know they both make a good topic for this site, but I think that we can offer more. Custom web design for churches may just be this thing. I think this will also help people a lot because by offering custom web design, people could come and tell us what they would like to get and we design it for them, so, beside downloading a free template, people could ask for some specific design work.
Church web design is a form of art and “custom” is the word for any form of art, that is why I think about this. It is not something that I have spent my time on planning, just a thought that is running through my head since a while.
Christian web design is a business
Yes, this is right, Christian web design is a business, you like it or not. When you run a Christian website building business, you need to pay people, you need to have a steady income, so you can not give everything for free. This is a business, you like it or not. I know that religion teach us to help people and we do it as much as we can. This is the reason for which we give away for free so many website templates that we have worked hard to design. But, again, when you run such a Christian website, you need to pay various services and for all these, you need money.
Running your Christian website as a business is the best thing you can do, because if it brings you money, you can pay for services needed in order for the site to work. Pay for designers, pay for hosting, pay for promotion, for whatever you need, so, my dear visitors, that is why I say that running you Christian web design site as a business, is a must.
I know most of us don’t feel comfortable asking for money and you rather help people by designing their website, but this is not something that you will be able to do on long term. On long term, you need to live and in order to live, you need to earn money. If you put work into your Christian website, you need to make some money out of it in order to make it work for a long time. It is that simple: Christian web design is a business, run it this way and you will have long term success!
