I have no ideas why in this period people search less (I guess) for some religious resources. I mean,MT dropped these last few days in traffic, even if I am still there in the SERP. It may be related to this period of year? I have no idea, just the facts and the facts are annoying, to say it so. MySpace Christian layouts dropped a bit. Christian MySpace layouts also, the same Christian MySpace graphics. And the free church website templates and Christian templates, they are still there but the traffic is lower. Anyway, I hope to be a temporary trend and to go back to where it was.
Just blogging, I guess…
These last 2 days I was out of the city, I took a 2 days holiday with my best friends and we decided to spend these days at a chalet in the mountains. It was great, a lot of green grass, friends, guitars, etc. I came back with a desire to do things better here on MT. Also before leaving the town I had a nice surprise, MT and LayoutGarden.com had a PR update, MT from 3 to 4 and LayoutGarden.com from 0 to 3! It was a nice surprise that really made my day. It was just before leaving for what was going to be a lovely holiday!
Now I am back and ready to work. I don’t have that much time to spend on MT since I want to also develop LayoutGarden, to make it more visible in Google. Unfortunately it is hard work, each time I start some new project I fear the volume of work that I have to put into that project. LayoutGarden.com is one of these projects now.
On the other hand, MT is where I proposed for this month, I am happy with it. I will check more stats tomorrow since now I am a bit tired, I want to get some sleep, the short holiday was a bit exhausting. Lovely but I realize I am tired. So…off to bed now!See you!
Google PR update: we have PR 4!
Just a quick news that made me happy! We have a PR update now from Google: instead of 3 it’s 4 now! What a happy news!
Looking for ideas in my Christian niche…
Yes, I am looking for ideas in the limits of my site’s Christian niche, to make it go upper than it is now. I am happy with how my site is doing but I want to take it further. If you would like to have something more on this website, Christian resources, please let me know. Ok, you might say that I will steal your ideas. Ok, those of you that think this, don’t send anything. but those of you willing to help, willing to share their ideas with other Christian sites, please send me an email, give me an idea. I really put my heart into this site. I started to provide Christian web templates, I succeeded in bringing it on the first page of Google, now I want to extend my niche! Wanna help me?
Thoughts about (free) Christian MySpace layouts,spam comments,Christian Mambo/Joomla templates, etc…
For the moment, due to the fact that I relaunched www.LayoutGarden.com I didn’t have that much activity on MT site, but I will try to catch up these days. Also I had a lot to do regarding some other web projects so it was not easy at all. No matter, everything is well when it finishes well, right?
What I’ve observed these last days:
- once again I broke the record for unique daily visitors on MT (however I will not say how many)
- I hate comment spammers. Some dude found interesting posting announcements in the area of Christian announcements, on MT, he didn’t get that part with “comments are moderated” so I take the time to delete such comments from time to time, but he is restless. Well…one of us is going to get bored about this soon, since he posts and I delete. Either he gives up either I implement an anti-spam module…
- Some other guy/robot finds it funny to post spam comments on my contact page using Send message form. This is stupid really…
- people are interested in Christian Mambo templates and Christian Joomla templates, I must find the time to put some on the site, i got some mails about this.
- I never find enough time…
That’s about everything I want to say now! And yes, one more: free Christian MySpace layouts brings me to the first page in Google and MySpace Christian layouts on the second in the first positions. Good, nice Google!!!

Big variation of traffic these last days
I experienced big variations of traffic these last days. Also, I have been very busy so I couldn’t keep a close look on the website. I can not tell yet why this happened, but I just observed it. Variations both in traffic and revenue. This is something that I will study a bit more in order to see what happened and how can it be avoided in the future.
I know that sometimes there are some causes that I can not control, people do search more in some days and less in others, but anyway, it must me more than this. I will see…
MySpace Christian layouts, Christian layouts and free Christian MySpace layouts, subject of Google dance
Well, I’ve been there many times! This time it happened with MySpace Christian layouts, free Christian MySpace layouts, Christian layouts, etc. I’ve been with some of them into the first page of Google results, second page, etc. Good results!! Then, 2 days later I’ve been sent to the 4th-5th pages. Well, I can say that I couldn’t hope for such a result (4th or 5th page) in the first place, so I could say that it is a good result, but being on the first page (for “free Christian MySpace layouts“) and then going back it is a bit frustrating. Well, c’est la vie! The good reaction is to keep working on it to bring it closer.
However, I could say that people searching for Christian MySpace codes are not good buyers, that’s for sure! They want free MySpace layouts and that is all. Sometimes they click ads but also it is a trade off, free Christian MySpace layouts ads are not expensive, you don’t get much for it…Well, again, c’est la vie, right? By the way, I am not French!
A, and an other thing – my blog is ranked better than my site. Just a personal observation. I mean for searches for MySpace Christian layouts, free Christian MySpace layouts and Christian layouts. Or MySpace Christian backgrounds…
A few thoughts about Christian MySpace layouts, Google Trends, stats and visits (real life of a webmaster…)
I am trying to grasp a few things, things such as why when you test with Google Trends for Christian MySpace layouts and MySpace Christian layouts, Google Trends says that people search for both phrases identically. They have the same search volume. Ok, I say! But then let’s look at my site positioning and visits for these 2 phrases. For Christian MySpace layouts I am on the first position of the 4th page in Google (pos. 31) but the number of visits I get on my site is about 25-30% higher than for MySpace Christian Layouts , search for which I am on the second page of Google, on the 15th position…
I am trying to understand why this happens. Either Google Trends does not report correctly, either people searching for MySpace Christian layouts does not find my page description in Google interesting (which I don’t believe it, by the way, it should be ok, it is just a twist of words…) , either…I don’t know…
Church website design seems to be my nightmare
I try hard to bring MT.com in the first 3-4 results in SERP for church website design search phrase. It used to be in the 10th page, then day by day, with efforts, I brought it closer. Now, since a while if you perform a search for church website design on Google you will find MT.com on the first position of the…second page! Very good, you’d say! Yes, indeed, just that I am trying to put it in the first page. Why does it stay there and does not want to move a single position at least? With one single position moved ahead, I would be in the first page. Ok, I know that first position on the second page may be better than last on the first, but however, I want the first page for it!
I want the first page for church website design!And that’s my target for the moment!
